Product information

Description

SVEN AP-U980MV is a wired and wireless gaming headset with circumaural ear cups and a head-band wearing style. The headset covers a frequency range of 20–20000 Hz and is supplied with a 2.2 m cable for wired connection. Weighing 365 g and finished in black and blue, the model is intended for extended use with a design that balances fit and stable positioning during gaming and voice communication.

Advantages

The dual connectivity of the SVEN AP-U980MV allows switching between wired and wireless modes depending on the device and situation. Circumaural ear cups provide broad passive isolation and comfortable coverage of the ear, while the head-band design ensures stable placement for long sessions. The included 2.2 m cable enables low-latency wired connection when required, and the 20–20000 Hz frequency response supports clear reproduction of game audio and voice chat.

Suitable for

PC and laptop gaming where both wired and wireless options are needed
Voice chat and online meetings requiring clear speech transmission
Long gaming sessions that require comfortable circumaural ear cups
Use with compatible consoles or devices that support the headset’s connectivity modes

How to use

Connect the SVEN AP-U980MV via the supplied 2.2 m cable to a compatible audio output for wired operation, or pair the headset with a wireless-capable device following the device pairing instructions for the wireless mode. Adjust the head-band and ear cups to ensure even pressure and a secure fit. Use the headset during gameplay, voice chat, or multimedia playback, and switch between wired and wireless modes as needed to match latency or power preferences.

Usage recommendations

For consistent audio quality during competitive play, use the wired connection to avoid potential wireless latency. Ensure the head-band is adjusted for even weight distribution to maintain comfort during long sessions, and keep the cable untangled when using wired mode to prevent strain on connectors.

Ear coupling: Ear coupling describes the way in which headphones or earphones stay attached to, or inside, the ear. There are three common types of ear coupling: circumaural, supra-aural and intra-aural. Circumaural headphones enclose your ears with large pads that suppress external noise. Supra-aural headphones are typically more lightweight and sit on top of the ears with small pads. Intra-aural headphones come in two basic designs and neither style sits on the head itself. The first are ear buds, which sit just outside of the ear canal, on top of your ear lobes.
