TACWISE Narrow Crown Staples Type 90 30 mm zinc-plated, 5,000 pcs – for wood-to-wood applications
TACWISE Narrow Crown Staples Type 90 with 30 mm leg length are zinc‑plated steel staples supplied in a pack of 5,000 pieces. They are designed for wood-to-wood fastening where a narrow crown and moderate leg length are required, such as joinery, panel assembly and furniture repair. The zinc plating provides basic corrosion resistance for interior timber connections, while the narrow crown profile minimises visible surface marking on finished wood.
The narrow crown design offers a low-profile fixing that reduces surface damage and makes staples less noticeable in narrow joints. Zinc plating increases resistance to rust in normal indoor environments, helping maintain holding performance over time. Supplied in a large 5,000-piece pack, these staples are suitable for high-volume work and reduce the need for frequent reordering. The 30 mm leg length provides reliable penetration for common timber thicknesses encountered in joinery and furniture tasks.
These staples are intended for interior wood-to-wood applications and are not specified for prolonged outdoor exposure or environments with high humidity where stronger corrosion protection is required. They are also not suitable for very hard or engineered materials that require heavy-duty fasteners or specialized nails.
Use these Type 90 staples with a compatible stapler or nailer rated for narrow crown staples. Position the workpieces so that the leg length provides sufficient penetration into the substrate without protruding through the opposite side. Drive staples at a right angle to the surface for best holding; for edge work or delicate veneers, test on scrap material first to ensure the crown does not split the wood. Follow the tool manufacturer's safety and operating instructions, including correct magazine loading and suitable pressure settings for the material thickness.
For consistent results, use on interior woodwork and set tool power to match wood density. When working with softwoods, reduce drive force to avoid over-penetration; with hardwoods, ensure sufficient driving power or pre-drill if necessary. Store unopened packs in a dry place to preserve the zinc finish and prevent surface corrosion.
