AV transmitter & receiver Techly IDATA EXT-E70POED
The Techly IDATA EXT-E70POED AV transmitter and receiver transmits HDTV signals over long distances using Cat6 / Cat6A / Cat7 network cable. It supports up to 1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution at distances up to 40 m and is HDCP 1.2a compatible. The kit includes a transmitter and receiver with compact dimensions and low power consumption; power can be supplied via the included power adapters or by using PoE to power the receiver. The unit also supports 3D signals and features IR synchronization and an EDID switch to match resolution and refresh rate for optimal HDMI output.
The extender provides reliable wired HDMI transmission over standard Ethernet cabling, extending full HD video to remote displays without converting to IP. The EDID switch allows easy adaptation of resolution and frequency to connected displays, while PoE capability reduces the need for a separate power outlet at the receiver. Infrared synchronization enables remote control passthrough and the compact, black enclosure is suitable for installation in various environments.
Connect the HDMI source (PC, Blu-ray, set-top box) to the transmitter HDMI input and connect the display to the receiver HDMI output. Use a single Cat6 / Cat6A / Cat7 cable between transmitter and receiver, keeping the run within 40 m for 1080p. Set the EDID switch to match the display’s preferred resolution and refresh rate, and connect power adapters to both units or supply PoE to the receiver if available. If remote control is required, connect IR transmitters/receivers to the corresponding ports to enable IR synchronization.
For consistent full HD performance, use high-quality shielded Cat6 or Cat6A cables and avoid running the network cable alongside high-power electrical lines. Verify EDID settings after installation to ensure the correct resolution and refresh rate. Use PoE where mains power at the display location is not convenient.
