Sealant Adhesive Technicqll COLOS SEAL R-483 black 290 ml

Technicqll COLOS SEAL R-483 black 290 ml is a black sealant adhesive supplied in a 290 ml cartridge. It is formulated to provide flexible adhesion and durable sealing for joints and gaps in construction, repair and installation tasks. The product is suitable for outdoor and indoor applications where a weather-resistant, flexible bond is required on common building materials.

Advantages

COLOS SEAL R-483 offers elastic adhesion that accommodates movement in joints while maintaining a tight seal against moisture and dust. The cartridge format allows controlled application with a standard caulking gun, and the black colour provides a discreet finish for dark surfaces and decorative elements. Its formulation is intended to resist common environmental influences and provide long-term performance when applied according to instructions.

Suitable for

• Sealing expansion and connection joints in facades and building elements
• Bonding and sealing around window and door frames
• Repairing gaps and cracks in masonry, concrete and plaster
• Sealing joints in metal and painted surfaces where a black finish is desired

When it may not be suitable

This sealant adhesive may not be suitable for substrates that require special primers, continuous immersion in water, or exposure to aggressive chemicals without prior compatibility testing. It is not intended for structural applications where certified load-bearing adhesives are required.

Key specifications

• Colour: black
• Packaging format: 290 ml cartridge
• Product type: flexible sealant adhesive
• Application: manual application with caulking gun
• Suitable substrates: common building materials such as masonry, concrete, metal, painted surfaces and wood (subject to surface preparation)

How to use

Prepare surfaces by removing dust, grease and loose material; ensure surfaces are dry and stable. Cut the cartridge nozzle to the desired bead size and fit into a compatible caulking gun. Apply the sealant in a continuous bead, maintaining even pressure. Tool the joint within the products skin time to achieve the required finish and to ensure contact with both sides of the joint. Allow the sealant to cure under recommended ambient conditions before exposing it to mechanical stress or heavy moisture.

What to consider before purchase

• Check substrate compatibility and perform a small test on non-critical area if uncertain
• Ensure the black colour matches the intended finish or surrounding materials
• Confirm that a 290 ml cartridge size meets the required coverage for the planned work
• Consider whether primer or special surface preparation is needed for optimal adhesion

Usage recommendations

For best results, apply COLOS SEAL R-483 at recommended ambient temperatures and on clean, dry surfaces. Use a joint-backup material where appropriate to control sealant depth, and avoid painting over the sealant unless compatibility is confirmed. Store cartridges in a cool, dry place and use within the manufacturers suggested shelf life.
