This AGM battery features a maintenance-free design that eliminates the need for regular fluid checks or water refilling throughout its operational lifespan. The robust construction allows for flexible installation orientations while maintaining safety against leaks. Thanks to the low self-discharge rate, the battery retains its charge effectively during periods of inactivity or storage, ensuring readiness when backup power is required. The durable casing and internal structure contribute to a stable output and extended service life under standard operating conditions.

Suitable for

• Uninterruptible power supplies for computers and office equipment
• Emergency security and surveillance systems
• Backup power for alarm panels and access control
• Telecommunication and minor network devices

When it may not be suitable

This battery is not designed for automotive starting applications, such as cranking engines in cars or motorcycles, as it cannot deliver the required high surge currents. It is also unsuitable for deep-cycle traction purposes like powering electric vehicles or large marine trolling motors over extended discharge cycles.

Key specifications

• Voltage: 12V
• Capacity: 18Ah
• Technology: AGM
• Maintenance-free construction

How to use

Connect the battery to a compatible 12V charging system or device observing the correct polarity, matching the positive terminal to the positive lead and the negative to the negative. Ensure the connection points are clean and secure to prevent resistance and heat buildup. Charge the battery using a properly rated AGM-compatible charger and avoid deep discharges to maximize its overall operational longevity.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the physical dimensions and terminal type to ensure compatibility with your equipment compartment
• Confirm that your existing charging system is compatible with 12V AGM batteries
• Assess your required run-time and power load to ensure an 18Ah capacity meets your application needs

Usage recommendations: Store the battery in a cool, dry place and recharge it periodically if kept in long-term storage to prevent capacity loss. Always operate and charge the unit in well-ventilated areas and follow standard electrical safety procedures.
