TECMAXX 14-034 Permanent Threadlocker Red 6ml

TECMAXX 14-034 Permanent Threadlocker Red is a high-strength adhesive solution engineered to secure threaded metal fasteners against loosening due to vibration, shock, or thermal expansion. This 6ml formula creates a robust, permanent bond that effectively seals threads, preventing corrosion and leakage in demanding mechanical environments. It is specifically formulated for heavy-duty applications where disassembly is not intended or required.

Advantages

The primary benefit of this red threadlocker is its exceptional strength, which ensures that critical bolts and nuts remain tightly fastened even under extreme operating conditions. Its chemical composition provides superior resistance to oils, fuels, and various industrial solvents, making it highly reliable for automotive and machinery maintenance. By filling the gaps between threads, it also acts as a sealant that protects the connection from rust and environmental degradation, thereby extending the service life of the assembly.

Suitable for

• Securing heavy-duty bolts in automotive engines and transmissions
• Locking fasteners in industrial machinery and heavy equipment
• Preventing loosening of structural metal components subject to constant vibration
• Sealing threaded connections that require permanent, high-strength fixation

When it may not be suitable

This product is not recommended for applications where frequent disassembly or maintenance is required, as the permanent bond makes removal extremely difficult without specialized heating tools. It should not be used on plastic components or delicate materials that may be damaged by the chemical properties of the adhesive.

Key specifications

• Color: Red
• Strength: High (Permanent)
• Volume: 6ml
• Application: Metal threaded connections
• Chemical resistance: Resistant to oils, fuels, and solvents

How to use

Before application, ensure that the threaded surfaces are clean, dry, and free from oil or grease. Apply a sufficient amount of the threadlocker to the leading threads of the bolt. Assemble the parts as usual and tighten to the required torque. The adhesive will begin to cure at room temperature, reaching its full functional strength within 24 hours. Avoid moving the parts during the initial curing phase to ensure a secure bond.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the application requires a permanent, non-removable bond
• Ensure the surfaces are made of metal, as this product is not designed for plastics
• Check the size of the project to ensure 6ml is sufficient for your needs

Usage recommendations: For optimal results, perform a test application on a small area if you are unsure about the material compatibility. Always wear protective gloves during use and store the container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the shelf life of the adhesive.
