UPS TED ® model TED003966 700VA / 400W with LED display, 2 output sockets
Line-interactive UPS TED ® TED003966 provides 700VA / 400W of backup power and voltage regulation for connected devices. The unit features an integrated LED display that shows operational status and basic runtime information. With two output sockets, this UPS is designed to protect home office equipment, small business workstations and network devices from power interruptions and mains voltage fluctuations while offering compact, easy-to-monitor protection.
The UPS combines automatic voltage regulation with battery backup to reduce the risk of data loss and equipment damage during brownouts, spikes and short outages. The built-in LED display provides clear, at-a-glance information about input voltage, battery status and load level. Two output sockets accommodate a computer and a peripheral or a router and a switch, enabling simple protection for common small setups. The line-interactive topology balances affordability and practical power conditioning for non-critical but important equipment.
Place the UPS on a stable, flat surface near the devices you want to protect and close to a grounded mains outlet. Connect the UPS to the mains and allow it to charge according to the manufacturer's initial charge recommendation before connecting sensitive equipment. Plug key devices into the two output sockets and use the LED display to monitor input voltage, battery level and load condition. During an outage the UPS automatically switches to battery mode to maintain power to connected devices until mains power is restored or the battery becomes depleted.
To ensure reliable backup operation, periodically test the UPS by simulating a power interruption and check the LED indicators for correct status. Avoid connecting high inrush or heavy inductive loads such as laser printers or large appliances. Keep the unit in a ventilated, dust-free environment and replace the battery according to the manufacturer's service intervals or when runtime becomes noticeably reduced.
