The gravel is produced from red granite, polished to a smooth surface and sized to 8–12 mm grains. These pebbles are intended for use in freshwater aquariums and terrestrial terrariums as a decorative substrate layer, as well as for supporting biological filtration and stable mechanical drainage in planted or hardscape layouts.

How to use

Rinse the polished red granite pebbles thoroughly with clean water until the runoff is clear to remove dust and fines from packaging and transport. Spread an even layer of gravel in the aquarium or terrarium to the desired depth; for aquaria use a thinner decorative layer over a planted substrate or a thicker layer for hardscape-only setups. In terrariums, place pebbles as a visible ground cover or as a drainage layer beneath soil. Avoid abrupt substrate depth changes near filtration intakes and use complementary materials (activated carbon, bio-media) where specific filtration goals are required.

Usage recommendations

Before introducing livestock, monitor water parameters for several days after placement to confirm stability. For planted aquariums, combine with nutrient-rich substrates where root-feeding plants are used. Replace or clean pebbles only as needed to avoid disturbing established biological colonies.
