The TerraMaster F5-422 is a 5-bay desktop NAS designed for small and medium-sized businesses. It is powered by an Intel Celeron J3455 quad-core processor (1.5 GHz, turbo up to 2.3 GHz) and 4 GB DDR3 memory, and offers one 10GbE port plus two 1GbE ports. The unit supports up to five HDDs or SSDs and provides AES hardware encryption and support for multiple RAID levels to meet business storage and data-protection needs.

Advantages

The F5-422 delivers high-bandwidth performance with a built-in 10Gb Ethernet port and dual Gigabit interfaces for link aggregation and failover. It uses the Btrfs file system with optimized snapshot technology for file- and folder-level recovery, and offers six layers of data protection including scheduled backups, RAID redundancy, AES folder encryption, cloud backup and network transport encryption. Enable TNAS.online for remote access without manual DDNS or port forwarding, and configure scheduled backups or cloud sync as needed.
