Pastry dough cutter tescoma DELICIA 7 cm plastic circular cutter for large round shapes

tescoma DELICIA 7 cm plastic circular cutter is a lightweight kitchen tool designed to cut large round shapes from pastry, dough and fondant. The 7 cm diameter provides consistent circular cuts for biscuits, cookies, pastries and edible decorations. Made of food-safe plastic, the cutter is simple to handle, store and clean, and suits home bakers and small-scale confectionery tasks where accurate, repeatable round shapes are required.

Advantages

The plastic construction ensures a low-weight tool that is comfortable to use for repetitive cutting without tiring the hand. A smooth, even cutting edge produces neat round shapes with minimal dough distortion. The open circular form makes it easy to eject cut dough and to clean the tool quickly after use. Its compact size allows convenient storage in a drawer or baking kit.

Suitable for

• Cutting round cookies and biscuits from rolled dough
• Shaping fondant and marzipan decorations
• Preparing pastry circles for tarts, vol-au-vents and appetizers
• Portioning soft doughs for uniform small pastries

Key specifications

• Diameter: 7 cm (internal cutting size)
• Material: food-safe plastic
• Shape: circular
• Weight: lightweight, easy to handle
• Maintenance: hand-washable and quick to clean

How to use

Roll out the pastry or fondant to an even thickness on a lightly floured surface. Press the cutter firmly and straight down into the dough to create a clean circular cut. Lift the cutter and remove the shaped piece; for stuck pieces, gently push the dough out from the side. Repeat as needed, re-rolling scraps to maximise yield. After use, rinse the cutter under warm water and dry thoroughly before storing.

Usage recommendations

For best results, dust the cutter or work surface lightly with flour or powdered sugar when cutting sticky doughs. Avoid exposing the cutter to high temperatures or sharp objects to preserve its shape and cutting edge.
