How to use

Open the fold-out probe and switch the thermometer on using the sensor button. Insert the probe into the thickest part of the food, avoiding contact with bone or the cooking surface, and wait until the reading stabilizes. Use the auto-rotating display and backlight to read the temperature from any angle. After measurement, wipe the probe and housing with a damp cloth or rinse the probe under running water if permitted, then fold the probe back for storage. Replace the CR2032 battery when the display indicates low power.

Usage recommendations

For accurate internal temperature readings, insert the probe into the centre of the food item and leave it in place until the value stops changing.
