It is also not designed for use in environments with significant physical obstructions that could block the wireless signal between the sensor and the display unit.

Key specifications

• Wireless data transmission between sensor and display
• Digital indoor display for easy reading
• Weather-resistant outdoor sensor construction
• Real-time precipitation monitoring

How to use

To begin using the device, install the required batteries into both the outdoor sensor and the indoor display unit. Place the outdoor sensor in an open area, away from trees, buildings, or other obstacles that might prevent rain from reaching the collection funnel. Once positioned, the sensor will automatically begin transmitting data to the indoor display. You can then mount or place the display unit in a convenient location inside your home to monitor rainfall levels as they occur.

What to consider before purchase

• Ensure there is a clear line of sight or minimal interference for the wireless signal
• Verify that the outdoor location is free from overhead obstructions
• Check the battery requirements for both components

Usage recommendations

For the most accurate results, ensure the rain gauge is placed on a level surface and is kept clear of debris such as leaves or twigs that could clog the collection funnel. Regularly inspect the sensor to maintain measurement precision.
