TFA-Dostmann Pop is a freestanding indoor/outdoor temperature sensor set that includes a base station and a separate wireless temperature transmitter. How to use

Place the wireless transmitter outdoors or in the remote location where you want to measure temperature and insert a single AAA 1.5 V battery. Position the freestanding receiver indoors on a stable surface within the wireless range. Use the receiver controls to switch the display between indoor and outdoor temperature and to view stored maximum and minimum values. Check the time display on the receiver for reading context. Replace the battery in the transmitter when the signal weakens or readings become intermittent.

Usage recommendations

For reliable measurements, mount the outdoor transmitter in a shaded, ventilated location away from direct sunlight and sources of heat or moisture. Keep receiver and transmitter within the specified operating radius and avoid placing the transmitter inside metal enclosures that can block the signal.
