Environmental Sensor TFA-Dostmann WeatherHub
The Environmental Sensor TFA‑Dostmann WeatherHub (COZY RADAR set) monitors indoor and outdoor temperature and relative humidity to help maintain a healthy room climate and reduce the risk of mould. The set includes a thermo‑hygrometer for indoor use, an outdoor thermo‑hygro transmitter and a WeatherHub Gateway that forwards measured values to the cloud. The WEATHERHUB app compares indoor and outdoor conditions, displays long‑term trends and provides targeted ventilation and climate control advice on your smartphone.
The WeatherHub system records temperature and humidity simultaneously indoors and outdoors and visualises persistent trends on a long‑term radar display. The Gateway transmits measured values to the WEATHERHUB cloud so you can access data worldwide via the app. The app issues specific, actionable recommendations (ventilate, heat, dehumidify or humidify), supports up to 50 sensors and offers history graphs for the last 90 days, alert limits and push notifications.
Install the indoor thermo‑hygrometer at the typical breathing height in the room you want to monitor and place the outdoor transmitter in a sheltered location. Connect the WeatherHub Gateway to your home network and register the devices in the WEATHERHUB app. The Gateway forwards sensor data to the cloud; the app compares indoor and outdoor readings and shows trends, alerts and concrete ventilation or heating suggestions. Replace batteries or connect AC power as required to ensure continuous operation.
Place the indoor sensor away from direct heat sources and drafts for representative readings. Follow app recommendations: ventilate when the app indicates high indoor humidity and consider heating or dehumidifying for cold, damp rooms to prevent mould. Regularly check the app’s history and set alert thresholds appropriate for the monitored room.
