Power is via the included mains adapter or batteries (5×1.5V AAA, not included); when mains-powered, the backlight can be permanently on with two brightness levels.

How to use

Install the outdoor transmitter outdoors within the specified range (up to 100 m line of sight) and synchronize it with the base station following the pairing instructions. Place or hang the main unit indoors where the display is easy to read and connect the mains adapter or insert batteries. Use the menu to select language, set the radio-controlled clock, and enable or adjust the backlight level if mains power is used. The station will continuously update outdoor and indoor temperature/humidity readings and display pressure trends and forecast symbols automatically.

Usage recommendations

Mount the outdoor transmitter in a shaded, well-ventilated location away from direct sunlight and heat sources for accurate temperature and humidity readings. If you want constant backlight, use the mains adapter; otherwise operate on batteries to avoid continuous power consumption.
