How to use

Ensure both the component and heatsink contact surfaces are clean and free of old thermal compound, dust and oils. Apply a small amount of the thermal paste to the center of the chip or surface to be cooled; a pea-sized or rice-grain amount is normally sufficient depending on the die size. Mount the heatsink and press evenly to spread the compound into a thin, continuous layer. Avoid excessive quantities that can reduce thermal performance and make reassembly more difficult.
