Thermal Grizzly thermal pad Minus Pad Advance 100×100×1.0 mm pack of 2
Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad Advance thermal pads in size 100×100×1.0 mm (pack of 2) are soft, pre-cut thermal interface materials designed for situations where thermal paste is impractical or difficult to apply. These pads provide a consistent thermal conduction layer between heat-generating components and heatsinks, enabling reliable heat transfer in compact systems, custom cooling assemblies, or electronics with uneven surfaces. The 1.0 mm thickness balances gap filling and low thermal resistance for common applications such as CPUs, GPUs, VRMs and power modules.
Minus Pad Advance pads are easy to handle and install due to their pre-cut format and pliable texture, reducing installation time and minimizing risk of mess compared to liquid or paste thermal compounds. The material offers electrical insulation while maintaining thermal conductivity, making it suitable for components where contact must be thermally bridged without creating conductive contacts. Supplied as a pack of two sheets, they allow repeated use or coverage of multiple components during a single service or build.
Clean both mating surfaces from dust, old thermal compound and oils using isopropyl alcohol and allow them to dry. Cut the pre-cut pad to the required shape if necessary, remove protective films, and position the pad on the component or heatsink ensuring full contact across the interface. Assemble the cooling solution and apply even pressure so the pad conforms to surface irregularities. If repositioning is needed, remove and replace with a new pad rather than repeatedly reusing the same sheet to maintain optimal thermal performance.
Store pads in a dry, dust-free environment and avoid exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. For best thermal coupling, ensure the surfaces are flat and clean; use additional pads of appropriate thickness for larger gaps. Replace pads during major service intervals or if the pad shows signs of compression, contamination, or loss of elasticity.
