Radiator block Thermaltake R240
The Thermaltake R240 Radiator block is a black aluminum radiator designed for PC liquid cooling systems. With dimensions of 120.7 mm width, 273 mm depth and 39.9 mm height and a weight of 0.332 kg, this radiator block uses liquid cooling technology to improve heat dissipation and maintain stable component temperatures. Constructed with attention to thermal transfer and durable materials, it supports compact 240 mm-class cooling loops and integrates industry-standard fittings for easy integration.
The R240 offers a slim form factor that fits in many mid-tower and compact cases while providing a 13-set flat tube design and high-density fins to increase surface area and airflow interaction. Brazed construction joins fins and tubes for improved thermal transfer and long-term reliability. Anti-corrosion materials and aerospace-grade manufacturing processes reduce oxidation and help maintain consistent cooling performance across extended use.
Install the R240 into your chassis at a supported radiator mounting location, align mounting holes and secure with appropriate screws. Connect inlet and outlet lines using compatible G1/4" fittings and ensure hose routing allows unobstructed flow. Fill and bleed your loop following the coolant manufacturer's instructions, then perform a leak test before powering the full system. Verify fan orientation and airflow across the radiator to achieve optimal heat dissipation.
Use quality coolant and compatible fittings to reduce corrosion risk and maintain performance. Pair the radiator with appropriate high-airflow or static-pressure fans and monitor loop temperatures after installation. Periodic inspection and coolant replacement according to the coolant vendor’s guidance will extend radiator life and preserve cooling efficiency.
The Thermaltake R240 radiator block is engineered for demanding enthusiasts and custom liquid-cooling builds. Its fin-and-tube construction creates uniform heat transfer, delivering consistent heat removal (typical load range 32°C–35°C per radiator) to keep power-dissipating components running reliably under heavy use.
With an optimized fin density of 17 FPI, the R240 is designed to work efficiently with higher air pressure and increased fan speeds. This high-density layout significantly boosts cooling performance when fans ramp up, making it ideal for high-performance cooling loops.
The Pacific R series radiators are manufactured using a controlled-atmosphere brazing process at 550°C (1022°F), producing strong, impurity-free joints between fins and tubes. This high-quality fabrication enhances thermal transfer from the tubes to the fins for more effective heat evacuation and long-term durability.
The Pacific RL lineup offers multiple radiator sizes to support aesthetic and performance-focused custom systems. The R240’s compact 273 mm depth and slim 39.9 mm height (120.7 mm width) make it easy to allocate radiators to specific components and integrate externally modular upgrades within your chassis for a tailored cooling solution.
