Thermal paste Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut
Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut is a high-performance thermal paste designed primarily for medium- to large-scale cooling solutions such as water cooling systems. With a thermal conductivity of 11.8 W/m·K and a silicone-free composition, Hydronaut provides efficient heat transfer for demanding cooling setups and offers an attractive price-performance ratio. The product is RoHS-compliant and comes in a 3 ml syringe (approx. 7.8 g).
Hydronaut offers excellent thermal conductivity suitable for overclocking and heavy cooling workloads. Its silicone-free formula makes the paste light, flexible and easy to apply. The compound does not cure, is non-conductive electrically, and is safe for use with aluminum (note: the aluminum warning refers to Conductonaut only).
Clean the contact surfaces (CPU/GPU heat spreader and cooler base) from old thermal compound, dust and grease. Apply a small, pea-sized amount of Hydronaut onto the center of the chip or use a thin line for larger IHS surfaces. Mount the cooler and tighten screws evenly to spread the paste into a uniform, thin layer. Recheck mounting after a short thermal cycle to ensure even contact and optimal heat transfer.
For best results, use Hydronaut on medium- to large-scale cooling solutions such as custom water cooling loops. Avoid excessive application — a thin, even layer ensures optimal performance.
