The Thule 547001 roof-mounted front wheel holder provides a secure and easy-to-use solution for transporting a muddy or bulky front wheel on the car roof, keeping the wheel out of the trunk. Designed in black with dimensions of 150 mm x 550 mm, the carrier docks to a compatible roof rack and includes locks for the wheel and the holder.

Advantages

The carrier fits a wide range of wheel types and sizes, accepts quick release wheels out of the box and thru-axle wheels with an adapter accessory, and supports wheels from 20" up to 29" with tire widths up to 3". The holder arm detaches from the base for convenient loading outside the car, then easily docks back to the base. It folds flat when not in use and locks both the front wheel to the holder and the holder to the roof rack. The design fits most roof racks up to 90 mm using an around-the-bar solution and includes an adapter for Thule SquareBar.

How to use

Detach the holder arm from the base, place the front wheel into the arm and secure the axle with the integrated lock. Dock the holder arm with the wheel installed into the base mounted on the roof rack and engage the holder-to-rack lock. For thru-axle bikes install the appropriate adapter accessory before securing the wheel. Fold the holder flat against the roof rack when not in use.
