Thule ProRide 598 Roof-mount Bicycle Carrier Aluminium Black for up to 20 kg

The Thule ProRide 598 Roof-mount Bicycle Carrier Aluminium Black is a reliable and convenient solution designed for the safe transportation of bicycles up to 20 kg on your vehicle roof. Crafted from durable aluminium with a sleek black finish, this roof-mounted bike rack combines practical functionality with secure handling, making it an ideal choice for outdoor enthusiasts and cyclists who travel frequently.

Advantages

This bicycle carrier features an automated positioning system that guides your bike into place as you secure it, utilizing a uniquely designed frame holder and wheel tray. The integrated torque limiter dial controls the clamping force applied to the bike frame, providing a clear indication of correct mounting to prevent over-tightening. Pressure is distributed evenly through large, soft claw pads that adapt to the frame tubes, minimizing the risk of damage. Additionally, an extended lower jaw on the claw prevents the bike from falling during loading, while diagonal quick-release straps hold the wheels firmly in place.

Suitable for

• Transporting bicycles with a weight of up to 20 kg on vehicle roofs
• Cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts needing secure car transportation for bikes
• Mounting on Thule WingBar Edge, Thule WingBar, Thule SlideBar, and Thule AeroBar using included T-track adapters

When it may not be suitable

This carrier may not be suitable for bicycles exceeding the maximum weight capacity of 20 kg or for vehicles that are not equipped with compatible roof rack systems. It is also not intended for rear-mounted or towbar transport configurations.
