Pour-over dripper Timemore Crystal Eye Turbo PCTG 01 Clear – Timemore pour-over brewer, single-cup Turbo PCTG model

Timemore Crystal Eye Turbo PCTG 01 Clear is a single-cup pour-over dripper made from transparent PCTG that provides visible control over extraction and a stable, predictable flow for manual brewing. Designed for use with 01-size cone filter papers, this Timemore pour-over brewer combines a compact footprint with a turbo-style inner geometry that helps regulate water distribution and extraction rate to achieve consistent cup-to-cup results.

Advantages

The transparent PCTG construction allows you to observe coffee bed saturation and extraction progress in real time, aiding precise technique adjustments. The Turbo internal design and calibrated outlet create an even flow and reduce channeling, which supports reproducible brewing. Lightweight and durable, the dripper is easy to handle and clean, and its single-cup capacity suits small kitchens, tasting sessions, and controlled home brewing.

Suitable for

• Single-cup manual brewing with 01-size cone filters
• Home or small café use where visual extraction control is useful
• Coffee tasting and recipe development requiring consistent flow

When it may not be suitable

This dripper is optimized for single-cup pours; it may not be suitable if you routinely brew multiple cups at once or need a large-capacity brewer. Users seeking an insulated or heat-retaining material may prefer ceramic or metal alternatives, since PCTG is a clear, lightweight plastic that offers less thermal mass.

Key specifications

• Material: transparent PCTG
• Designed for: 01-size cone filter papers
• Capacity: single-cup brewing (compact volume)
• Internal geometry: Turbo-style flow regulator for even extraction
• Compatibility: standard pour-over kettles and scales for manual brewing

How to use

Place a compatible 01-size paper filter inside the dripper and rinse it with hot water to remove paper taste and preheat the dripper. Add ground coffee suitable for pour-over extraction, pour water in a controlled spiral or pulse according to your chosen recipe, and observe the coffee bed through the transparent walls to adjust pour speed and distribution. Once brewing is complete, lift the dripper, discard the grounds and rinse the unit for storage.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm compatibility with 01-size cone filter papers you use
• Consider whether a lightweight PCTG dripper meets your thermal retention needs
• Assess whether single-cup capacity aligns with your usual brewing volume

Usage recommendations

For consistent results, use a scale and timer, rinse the paper filter before brewing, and control water temperature and pour rate. Adjust grind size and pouring technique while observing the extraction through the transparent body to refine flavor balance and cup clarity.
