Charger TOOLKITRC Lead Acid / LiFePO4 Smart Battery Charger 24V 20A
Charger TOOLKITRC Lead Acid / LiFePO4 Smart Battery Charger 24V 20A
The TOOLKITRC Lead Acid / LiFePO4 Smart Battery Charger 24V 20A is an automatic charger and maintenance unit designed for 24V battery systems. It supports lead‑acid chemistries (STD, AGM, GEL, CAL) and LiFePO4, and provides a three‑stage smart charging algorithm that adapts current and voltage to battery condition. The charger offers a maximum charging current of 20A, LED status indication, a battery type selection button and built‑in protections against reverse polarity, overvoltage and overheating. Its compact black housing and included battery clamps make it suitable for installation and storage in a range of environments.
The device combines automatic multi‑stage charging with selectable battery chemistry, enabling safe charging and maintenance without continuous supervision. Integrated protections reduce the risk of damage to both battery and charger, while a wide input voltage and operating temperature range allow reliable use in diverse locations. LED indicators and a simple control button provide clear feedback and straightforward operation. The charger’s efficiency and maintenance mode help preserve battery capacity and extend service life.
Connect the included clamps to the battery terminals observing correct polarity, then plug the charger into a mains outlet within the specified input voltage range. Press the battery type selection button to choose the appropriate chemistry (STD, AGM, GEL, CAL or LiFePO4) as shown by the LED indicators. Power on the unit and allow the automatic three‑stage charging process to run: constant current charge, constant voltage charge, followed by maintenance/float mode. Monitor the LED indicators for charging status and any fault indications. After charging completes and the unit enters maintenance mode, disconnect the mains and then the clamps if long‑term connection is not required.
For best results, ensure battery connections are clean and secure, select the correct battery type before starting, and avoid charging batteries that are visibly damaged or leaking. Use the charger in a well‑ventilated area and avoid exposing it to moisture. For long‑term maintenance of stationary 24V batteries, periodic checks of electrolyte levels (for serviceable lead‑acid types) and battery voltage are recommended even when the charger is operating in maintenance mode.
