Advantages

This recessed stair light offers significant energy efficiency thanks to its low 1.5W power consumption combined with a long nominal lifespan of 50,000 hours, which minimizes the need for frequent replacements. The built-in LED technology provides stable performance and consistent light output with a color rendering index of 80, ensuring natural color representation. Its compact recessed wall mounting design allows the fixture to sit flush against surfaces, saving space and creating a sleek look without protruding hardware. Additionally, the adjustable CCT feature gives flexibility in matching the color temperature to existing interior lighting schemes.

Suitable for

• Illuminating indoor staircases and steps in residential homes
• Guiding pathways in long hallways and corridors
• Low-level accent lighting in living rooms or bedrooms
• Architectural lighting in modern commercial indoor spaces

When it may not be suitable

This lighting fixture has an IP20 ingress protection rating, meaning it is not protected against moisture and should not be installed in bathrooms, damp areas, or outdoor locations. Furthermore, with a luminous flux of 50 lumens, it is strictly designed for accent and orientation lighting rather than serving as a primary or general room light source.

How to use

Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in compliance with local electrical standards. The fixture is designed for wall recessed mounting, requiring a prepared wall cavity matching the specified built-in dimensions of 14 mm in length, 14 mm in width, and a depth of 20 mm. Connect the unit directly to a 220-240V power supply. Once securely installed into the wall, the integrated LED operates automatically upon switching, and the color temperature can be adjusted as needed during setup.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the installation location is indoors and completely dry due to the IP20 rating.
• Check the wall dimensions to ensure adequate space for the 20 mm built-in depth.
• Confirm that the electrical wiring supports a standard 220-240V voltage input.
• Acknowledge that the 50-lumen output provides low-intensity orientation light, not room illumination.

Usage recommendations

For optimal lighting comfort and safety, install these fixtures at regular intervals along staircases at a low height to evenly illuminate each step. Regularly dust the aluminum housing with a soft, dry cloth while the power is switched off to maintain the clean white appearance and ensure unobstructed light emission.
