The Industrial Endoscope Tracer HardWire 70° is a USB-powered inspection camera designed for examining hard-to-reach areas such as sewage pipes, vents, machines, engines and vehicles. The endoscope features a 70° viewing angle, a high-resolution 640 x 480 camera and a 5-meter stiffened video cable that can be shaped to reach tight spots. Six adjustable LEDs provide controllable illumination; images and video can be previewed and recorded on a smartphone or computer via USB using the supplied microUSB-to-USB adapter. A set of replaceable tips (hook, magnet, mirror) and a waterproof tightening cap are included for retrieval and underwater use.

How to use

Connect the Tracer HardWire endoscope to your smartphone or computer using the included microUSB-to-USB adapter and launch the compatible preview/recording software. Shape the 5 m stiffened cable as needed and introduce the tip into the inspection area. Adjust the LED brightness to achieve a clear image. Use the preview function to position the camera, then capture photos or record video as required. Attach the hook, magnet or mirror tip when retrieval or angled viewing is necessary. If inspecting under water, secure the tightening cap before submersion.

Usage recommendations

Use gentle insertion and avoid forcing the cable into extremely narrow gaps that exceed the camera’s diameter. Clean and dry accessory tips after each use and do not expose the USB connector to water. For best image quality, adjust LED brightness to match the distance to the target and use the preview function to frame the area before recording.
