How to use

Before first use, wash the pan with warm water and mild detergent, dry thoroughly and apply a thin layer of cooking oil to the interior. Warm the oiled pan briefly, then wipe off excess oil with absorbent paper. This initial seasoning reduces sticking and improves corrosion resistance. Use the pan on low to medium heat to prevent deformation of the base; preheat gradually for even cooking. When moving the pan on induction or glass-ceramic cooktops, lift rather than slide to avoid scratching the surface. Remove the silicone sleeve before placing the pan in a hot oven. After cooking, let the pan cool before cleaning; do not immerse a hot pan directly in cold water.

Usage recommendations

After each use wash with a soft sponge and mild soapy water, dry completely and rub a thin layer of cooking oil over the interior and exterior to protect against corrosion. Store in a dry place. For heavy residue, use a non-metal abrasive sponge and re-season the interior surface as needed. Avoid dishwashers and do not soak the pan in water. Note that light surface discoloration and occasional oxidation spots are normal for cast iron and do not affect performance.
