USB flash drive Transcend 128 GB mSATA Serial ATA III MSA452T2
The Transcend MSA452T2 is a 128 GB mSATA SSD that uses a Serial ATA III 6Gb/s interface and 3D NAND technology. In a compact mSATA form factor—about one-eighth the size of a 2.5" SSD—it is intended for space-constrained devices such as ultrabooks, tablet PCs and slim servers. The drive includes a built-in DRAM cache, a robust controller and manufacturing features like 30µ" PCB gold fingers and Corner Bond technology for increased durability. It supports an extended operating temperature range from -20°C to 75°C and an endurance rating of 3K Program/Erase cycles.
The MSA452T2 provides high sequential read and write performance (up to 560 MB/s read and up to 520 MB/s write) over the SATA III interface, low power consumption in a compact mSATA package, and improved storage efficiency thanks to 3D NAND. Built-in DRAM cache improves access speed, while durable components and an extended temperature range enhance reliability in portable and embedded applications.
Install the Transcend MSA452T2 into a compatible mSATA slot following your device manufacturer's instructions. Ensure the device is powered off before installation, insert the mSATA module into the connector at the correct angle, and secure it with the appropriate mounting screw if required. After installation, power on the system and check BIOS/UEFI for device recognition; format or partition the drive within the operating system if needed.
For reliable operation, use the MSA452T2 in devices that support mSATA with SATA III speeds. Keep firmware up to date according to Transcend’s support information and maintain regular backups — the endurance rating of 3K P/E cycles is suitable for typical client workloads but not for intensive enterprise write-heavy use.
