Transcend M.2 SSD 425S (1 TB) is a compact SATA III (6Gb/s) solid state drive in the M.2 2242 form factor designed to upgrade Ultrabooks and laptops. Built with high-quality 3D NAND flash and a dedicated controller, the drive delivers high sequential read/write performance and improved responsiveness compared with conventional hard drives. Firmware enhancements such as SLC caching and LDPC error correction increase storage reliability and help extend the SSD's service life.
