TV signal amplifier Triax GHV 520
TRIAX GHV 520 is a low-noise coaxial apartment-distribution amplifier designed for smaller MATV distribution networks in multi-dwelling buildings. The amplifier covers a frequency range of 47–1006 MHz, uses RF connectors and is powered from the AC mains. Its compact dimensions (170 × 100 × 65 mm) and typical power consumption of 3 W make it suitable for space-limited installations where improved TV signal level and quality are required.
The Triax GHV 520 provides low-noise amplification across a wide frequency band (47–1006 MHz), features standard RF connectors for easy integration into coaxial networks and has low power consumption (typical 3 W). Its compact size allows flexible placement in apartment distribution setups and the wide input voltage range (190–264 V AC) ensures reliable operation on standard mains supplies.
Install the Triax GHV 520 inline with the coaxial distribution network near the point where amplification is required. Connect the incoming RF feed to the amplifier input and route the amplified outputs to the downstream lines using compatible RF connectors. Ensure the unit is connected to an AC supply within the 190–264 V input range and secure the amplifier in a well-ventilated location with sufficient clearance around the housing.
For reliable performance, place the amplifier close to the area of signal loss, avoid high-temperature environments, and use quality coaxial cables and connectors. Verify local signal levels before and after installation to set up the distribution network appropriately.
