The Tripp Lite E2MTHDI Environmental Sensor Module extends the LX Platform device capability by providing remote monitoring of ambient temperature, humidity and two dry contact inputs. Designed for use with LX Platform network cards (WEBCARDLX, WEBCARDLXE, WEBCARDLXS) and managed through PowerAlert Device Manager, the module records events in the device event log and connects via the supplied USB cable. Its compact housing, magnetic mounting and daisy-chain support for up to three E2 sensors make it suitable for rack and cabinet installations.

Advantages

The E2MTHDI allows configurable alarm thresholds for temperature and humidity so you receive recorded events when levels exceed safe limits. Two dry contact inputs support monitoring of open/closed circuits (up to 5 V) for accessories such as door sensors or water-leak detectors. Installation is simplified by dual magnets, cable retention features and built-in cable channels; multiple sensors can be daisy-chained to cover different rack locations.
