Disc toy Trixie TRIXIE 33561 for dogs and cats, orange, diameter 19 cm
Trixie TRIXIE 33561 is a 19 cm diameter orange disc toy for dogs and cats designed for throwing, fetching and interactive play. Made of flexible, soft and robust plastic, the disc is lightweight and highly visible in bright orange to support outdoor play and training sessions. Its shape and material deliver optimal flight characteristics and a bite-resistant, non-splintering surface suitable for repeated use.
The disc combines flexibility and robustness to resist typical pet bites while remaining comfortable in the mouth. Approved for AWI and UFO tournaments, it offers predictable flight and stable aerodynamics that make throws easier to control and retrieve. Developed in cooperation with Disc Dogging champion Karin Actun, the toy includes a booklet with practical tips and exercises for designing effective training. Its construction trains endurance, reactions and speed without creating sharp edges or splinters.
Use the disc for short- and medium-distance throws during outdoor sessions, adjusting the force and angle of release to suit pet size and skill level. Start with gentle, low throws to allow puppies or inexperienced pets to learn retrieval, and gradually increase distance and flight dynamics as confidence and endurance grow. Inspect the disc periodically for surface wear and clean it with mild soap and water when necessary.
Prefer open, obstacle-free spaces for throwing to reduce risk of injury. Supervise all play, especially with young or highly enthusiastic dogs. Replace the disc if significant tearing or deformation appears to maintain safe play. Follow the booklet’s drills to progress safely from basic fetch to more advanced disc dog exercises.
