Tension rod set Trixie TRIXIE Tension Poles, aluminium, length 128 cm–3.2 m, 2 pcs
Trixie Tension Poles are a pair of adjustable aluminium rods designed to create temporary supports or barriers without permanent fixtures. Each pole extends from 128 cm up to 3.20 m and is supplied as two independently adjustable parts that can be fixed between floor and ceiling or wall to wall using tension, eliminating the need for drilling or screwing. The lightweight aluminium construction provides strength and corrosion resistance suitable for domestic and travel use.
The adjustable length range covers narrow to tall openings, allowing flexible installation for a variety of interior spaces. Aluminium construction keeps the poles light for easy handling while offering sufficient rigidity for supporting protective nets, curtains or lightweight shelving. The tension-fit design enables temporary installation and simple removal without tools, preserving wall and ceiling surfaces. Supplied as two poles, the set lets you create wider barriers or multiple support points as required.
Select a suitable location where the ends will contact stable surfaces such as finished floors and ceilings or solid walls. Extend each pole gradually to span the desired distance, then apply tension by rotating or adjusting the end fittings according to the product mechanism until the pole is firmly wedged in place. For hanging protective nets or curtains, attach the required fittings to the pole as instructed by the accessory manufacturer. To remove, release the tension mechanism and retract the poles for transport or storage.
Check surface suitability before installation: ensure contact areas are clean, flat and able to bear compressive load. Avoid installing on delicate or crumbly surfaces without protective pads. Do not exceed the intended load — these tension poles are intended for lightweight supports such as nets, curtains and stabilizing small shelving; avoid using them as primary structural supports for heavy items.
