Small animal feeder and water dispenser Trixie 62126, W 180 × D 300 mm
Small animal feeder and water dispenser Trixie 62126, W 180 × D 300 mm
The Trixie 62126 small animal feeder and water dispenser combines a dry feed compartment and a separate area for a drinking bottle in a compact unit measuring W 180 × D 300 mm. Designed for use in cages and enclosures, the device can be mounted to cage bars or placed free-standing inside the habitat. Constructed from treated softwood without resin channels and assembled with non-toxic glue, this feeder aims to minimise contamination between feed and water and to reduce spillage in small pet environments.
This combined feeder and water holder separates dry food from liquid, helping to maintain hygiene and reduce waste. Its compact footprint fits small enclosures while providing distinct spaces for feed and a bottle. The use of non-resinating softwood and animal-safe glue reduces the risk of exposure to harmful resins and supports durability in normal indoor pet conditions. It is suitable for mounting on cage bars or for free-standing placement, giving flexibility in installation.
Place the feeder at a convenient height inside the cage or attach it to the cage bars so the feed compartment is easily reachable for the animal. Fill the dry food compartment with the appropriate pellet or seed mix and install a drinking bottle in the designated bottle area, securing it according to the bottle manufacturer’s instructions. Check daily to ensure the bottle delivers water correctly and to remove any spoiled feed. Clean the feeder and bottle regularly following standard small-animal hygiene practices.
Inspect wooden surfaces periodically for signs of wear or soiling, and replace the feeder if damage could allow contamination. Use compatible drinking bottles that fit securely in the bottle area; avoid bottles with leaking seals. For best hygiene, wash the feed compartment and bottle weekly and refresh feed and water daily.
