Window sealer TROTEC AIRLOCK1000 for air conditioning, easy installation
The TROTEC AIRLOCK1000 window sealer for air conditioning is a compact accessory designed to improve the efficiency of portable air conditioners by sealing the window or patio door opening. It fits a wide range of hose diameters and is suitable for one-hose and two-hose portable units due to its two zip openings. Made from water-repellent and washable material, the AIRLOCK1000 reduces air exchange, keeps out dust and insects, and allows the window or door to be closed while the sealer remains in place.
The AIRLOCK1000 increases cooling performance and reduces energy consumption by sealing gaps around exhaust hoses. Its adaptable design and two zip openings make it compatible with different portable air conditioner configurations. The material is water-repellent and washable, supports simple self-assembly and disassembly without leaving traces, and is compact for storage when not in use.
The AIRLOCK1000 is intended for temporary or seasonal use and is not a permanent building alteration. It may not be suitable for permanently sealed or bespoke window frames that require custom installation methods. Very irregularly shaped openings or windows with fixed bars or frames that prevent the sealer from sitting flush may limit effectiveness.
Position the AIRLOCK1000 over the closed window or door so the fabric covers the opening. Pass the air conditioner exhaust hose through one of the zip openings and close the zip around the hose to create a snug fit. Adjust the sealer so the edges sit flush against the frame and secure according to the included fastening method. The window or door can be closed against the sealer; ensure the seal is even and the hose connection is properly tightened before operating the air conditioner.
For best results, clean the window frame before installing the sealer and allow the fabric to dry after washing. Use the appropriate zip opening for your hose configuration and regularly inspect the seal for wear to maintain efficiency and prevent drafts.
