The TSC TDP-225W is a compact 2-inch (5 cm) direct thermal label and wristband printer designed for healthcare, retail and asset-tagging applications. Built for durability and reliable performance, it delivers a 203 x 203 dpi resolution and a print speed up to 127 mm/s (6 ips). Advantages

The TDP-225W combines a small footprint with a clamshell design and no losable parts for easy media loading and maintenance. It supports top-of-form sensing by gap, black mark or notch with an adjustable black mark sensor, and accepts large media rolls including 6.5-inch OD wristband rolls to lower cost per wristband. How to use

Open the clamshell cover, drop the label or wristband roll into the spring-loaded media bay, and thread the media according to the printed guides. Use the front panel buttons and optional LCD to check status or configure basic settings. For networked use, connect the printer via Ethernet and install the appropriate driver or configure using standard emulations (Eltron®, Zebra®). To operate in stand-alone mode, attach a USB keyboard to the USB Host port, select a stored wristband template and enter the required data.

Usage recommendations

For optimal print life and consistent output, use direct thermal wristbands and labels recommended for the TDP-225W, store media in a cool, dry place, and avoid prolonged exposure of printed labels to direct sunlight or harsh chemicals.
