The TSC TC300 is a desktop thermal transfer label printer designed for reliable, compact label production. Based on the proven TSC TC series, the TC300 prints 4-inch-wide labels, tags or receipts at up to 102 mm/sec (approximately 6 ips) with a maximum resolution of 300 x 300 dpi. It accepts thermal transfer ribbons up to 110 m long on 0.5" notched cores and holds label rolls up to 5" diameter on 1" or 1.5" cores. The unit is available in navy and provides wired Ethernet LAN connectivity for integration into POS and label printing environments.

How to use

Place the TSC TC300 on a stable surface and connect it to power and your network or host device using the Ethernet or USB interface. Open the media cabinet, load the label roll onto the center-biased spring-loaded holder and thread the media through the print path. Install a thermal transfer ribbon on a 0.5" notched core and align it with the ribbon supply and take-up spindles. Close the cabinet and configure printer settings via the host driver or built-in utility to set media size, print speed and darkness. Send print jobs from your label design software or POS system.

Usage recommendations

Use ribbons up to 110 m in length on 0.5" notched cores and label rolls no larger than 5" diameter on 1" or 1.5" cores. For consistent print quality, select thermal transfer media and ribbons compatible with 300 x 300 dpi output and perform periodic printhead cleaning as recommended by the manufacturer.
