Label printer TSC TE210 — direct thermal / thermal transfer, 203 x 203 DPI, 152.4 mm/s, print width 20–112 mm, wired & wireless
TSC TE210 is a compact desktop label printer that supports both direct thermal and thermal transfer printing. It delivers 203 x 203 DPI print resolution and a maximum print speed of 152.4 mm/s, accommodating media widths from 20 mm to 112 mm. The TE210 offers wired and wireless connectivity options including Ethernet LAN and Wi‑Fi, and is designed for everyday barcode, shipping and product identification labeling in retail, logistics, inventory and point‑of‑sale environments.
The TE210 combines a durable modular thermal transfer mechanism with an easy‑to‑use ABS housing and a fast 400 MHz processor. With 64 MB SDRAM and 128 MB Flash memory it supports complex label layouts and multiple printer language emulations. The unit accepts a wide range of ribbon types and core sizes, features tool‑free replaceable printhead and platen roller, and supports both gap and black‑mark sensing for accurate label registration. Energy Star 2.0 efficiency, flexible media handling up to 5" OD internally and support for larger external rolls make it a practical choice for continuous desktop label production.
Install the printer on a stable surface and connect to power and your network via Ethernet or Wi‑Fi following the supplied setup guide. Load labels into the media compartment and, for thermal transfer printing, install the appropriate ribbon on the selected core size. Configure printer settings from the device driver or web interface to match label size, print density and speed. Replace the printhead or platen roller when needed using the tool‑free access points provided by the design. Use the built‑in sensor calibration routines to ensure accurate gap or black‑mark detection.
For consistent print quality and to extend printhead life, use recommended label stocks and thermal transfer ribbons of proper width and core size, avoid abrasive or contaminated media, and perform periodic cleaning of the platen roller and printhead. When handling high‑volume label runs, consider using the optional external label unwinder to reduce roll changes and ensure smooth media feeding.
