TTPLAST RLHF 18 Rigid Halogen-Free Electrical Installation Conduit 3m

The TTPLAST RLHF 18 is a rigid, halogen-free electrical installation conduit designed to provide robust mechanical protection for electrical wiring systems. Measuring 3 meters in length, this conduit is engineered for durability and safety in both residential and commercial building environments. By utilizing halogen-free materials, the conduit minimizes the release of toxic gases and smoke in the event of a fire, ensuring compliance with stringent safety regulations and enhancing overall building protection.

Advantages

The primary benefit of the TTPLAST RLHF 18 is its halogen-free composition, which significantly improves safety standards by reducing fire hazards. Its rigid construction offers excellent resistance to mechanical impact, ensuring that cables remain protected from external damage during and after installation. The smooth interior surface facilitates easy cable pulling, while the standardized dimensions ensure compatibility with a wide range of electrical accessories and junction boxes, streamlining the installation process for professionals and DIY users alike.

Suitable for

• Residential electrical wiring installations
• Commercial building cable management
• Public buildings requiring high fire safety standards
• Surface-mounted electrical systems
• Protection of power and data cables

When it may not be suitable

This rigid conduit is not designed for applications requiring high flexibility or tight-radius bending, as it cannot be bent like corrugated pipes. It is also not intended for direct burial underground or for use in environments with extreme chemical exposure unless specifically rated for such conditions.

Key specifications

• Material: Halogen-free plastic
• Type: Rigid conduit
• Length: 3 meters
• Diameter: 18 mm
• Fire safety: Low smoke and toxic gas emission

How to use

To install the TTPLAST RLHF 18, measure the required length and cut the conduit using a standard pipe cutter or a fine-toothed saw. Secure the conduit to the wall or ceiling surface using appropriate mounting clips or brackets spaced at regular intervals to prevent sagging. Once the conduit is fixed in place, feed the electrical cables through the interior. Ensure that all joints and connections to junction boxes are properly sealed with compatible fittings to maintain the integrity of the cable protection system.

What to consider before purchase

• Ensure the 18 mm diameter is sufficient for the number and thickness of cables being installed.
• Verify that the rigid nature of the conduit fits the layout of your installation route.
• Check local building codes regarding the use of halogen-free materials in your specific project.
• Calculate the total number of 3-meter lengths required for your project to minimize waste.

Usage recommendations: For optimal results, use dedicated mounting clips designed for rigid conduits to ensure a secure fit. Avoid over-tightening fasteners to prevent deformation of the conduit wall. Always ensure that the conduit is free of internal debris before pulling cables through to prevent insulation damage.
