Inflation Valve Tip Tvardy T00245 — Brass 8 mm, 1/4" Thread, Pack of 100
Tvardy T00245 is a brass inflation valve tip designed for pumping wheels and tyres. The tip features an 8 mm outer diameter and a 1/4" threaded connection (G1/4), supplied as a pack of 100 pieces. Manufactured from brass, the tip provides a metal threaded interface for compressors, air hoses and inflators used in workshops, garages and service stations where repeated attachment and removal is required.
The brass construction offers corrosion resistance and mechanical durability compared with many plated or plastic alternatives. A standard 1/4" threaded connection ensures compatibility with a wide range of inflators, compressor hoses and fittings. Supplied in a bulk pack of 100, the set is convenient for professional environments and for replacing multiple worn or lost tips, reducing downtime during routine inflation tasks.
Thread the brass tip onto a compatible 1/4" male fitting on an inflator, hose or compressor coupler by hand, ensuring a secure engagement of the threads. Attach the inflator to the tyre or valve assembly and operate the compressor or pump following the device manufacturer’s safety instructions. After use, unscrew the tip if replacement or storage is required. Inspect the threads periodically for wear or contamination to maintain a safe, leak-free connection.
For reliable operation, keep threads clean and apply light thread lubricant if metal-on-metal galling occurs. Use the pack to maintain a supply of replacement tips in busy workshops, and match the thread size to existing fittings to ensure compatibility.
