Welding Helmet Tysweld T20.006 with Auto-Darkening Filter, Adjustable Shade
Tysweld T20.006 is a welding helmet fitted with an auto-darkening filter and an adjustable shade control. The helmet is designed to protect the face and eyes from welding arcs, spatter and harmful radiation while providing a clear view of the workpiece before striking an arc and during welding. Constructed for routine workshop and onsite use, it supports MIG, TIG and MMA processes and includes an adjustable headband for a secure, hands-free fit.
The auto-darkening filter switches between light and dark states to enable uninterrupted workflow and to reduce the need to lift the helmet when positioning. Adjustable shade settings allow the user to select an appropriate darkness level for different welding processes and amperages. The helmet offers facial coverage and protects against sparks and spatter while maintaining sufficient peripheral vision for safe handling of tools and materials.
Set the helmet on the head and adjust the headband until the helmet sits securely and comfortably, ensuring the viewing window aligns with your eyes. Select the appropriate shade level for the welding process and expected current using the shade adjustment control. Before welding, verify the auto-darkening filter transitions properly by exposing it to a light source or performing a test arc. During welding, keep the helmet lowered to maintain protection; after finishing, allow the filter to return to the light state for inspection of the weld.
Inspect the helmet and lens surface for cracks, deep scratches or other damage before each use. Clean the viewing window with a soft, lint-free cloth and approved cleaner; replace damaged or heavily scratched covers and the filter module according to manufacturer guidance. Use appropriate personal protective equipment in addition to the helmet, such as gloves and protective clothing, and select the shade level that corresponds to the welding current and process to ensure adequate eye protection.
