Frame Anchor with Screw UN KRP 8×140KP — 8.0×140 mm, hexagon + Torx drive
Frame Anchor with Screw UN KRP 8×140KP — 8.0×140 mm, hexagon + Torx drive
Frame anchor with screw UN KRP 8×140KP — 8.0×140 mm is designed for reliable fixing of window and door frames, stair stringers and other light structural elements. The fastener combines a corrosion-resistant metal screw with an expanding plastic sleeve, enabling secure anchoring in concrete, solid brick and specified hollow masonry. The head combines a hexagon exterior for wrench use with an internal Torx drive to improve torque transfer and reduce cam-out during power-tool installation.
The combined-sleeve design ensures controlled expansion and a stable load-bearing connection in common base materials. Hexagon head plus Torx drive allows both manual tightening with a wrench and efficient use of electric screwdrivers or impact drivers, reducing installation time. The metal screw provides shear and tensile strength while the sleeve compensates for irregularities in drilled holes, improving repeatability of anchoring performance.
Drill a hole of the specified diameter to the required depth in the substrate, remove dust and position the expanding sleeve into the hole. Insert the screw through the fixture and engage the Torx drive or place a wrench on the hex head; tighten until the sleeve expands and the fixture is held flush against the base material. Do not over-torque; follow base material load guidance to achieve required pull-out and shear performance.
For reliable results, select drill bit diameter and embedment depth according to substrate and load requirements, use appropriate PPE, and verify torque settings on power tools. Avoid use in crumbling or heavily cracked masonry without reinforcement or alternative fixing methods.
