Unidelta reducing tee PE GZ PE 25 mm x 1/2" x 25 mm – plumbing fitting
Unidelta reducing tee PE GZ 25 mm x 1/2" x 25 mm is a polyethylene plumbing fitting designed to create a branch connection in PE pipeline systems. The fitting joins two 25 mm polyethylene pipes in line while providing a central 1/2" threaded (female) outlet for connection to valves, meters or other threaded components. It is intended for use in potable water distribution and general pipeline installations where a durable, corrosion-resistant branch is required.
The reducing tee is manufactured from polyethylene, offering resistance to corrosion and many common chemicals, and maintaining performance in typical water distribution environments. The integrated 1/2" threaded outlet simplifies connection to standard threaded fittings and valves without additional adapters. The in-line 25 mm connections ensure a secure, leak-resistant joint when properly installed with compatible PE joining methods.
Install the reducing tee into a prepared section of 25 mm PE pipeline using the appropriate joining method for the PE material (e.g., electrofusion, butt fusion or approved mechanical fittings) according to industry best practices and manufacturer instructions. Ensure pipe ends are clean, cut square and properly aligned before joining. After securing the two 25 mm in-line connections, attach the required 1/2" threaded component (valve, meter, hose bib) to the central G-thread outlet, using appropriate sealing tape or thread sealant if specified for the application.
Verify compatibility of joining methods and threaded components with polyethylene systems, and follow local regulations for potable water installations. Inspect connections for leaks after commissioning and perform periodic checks during regular maintenance.
