How to use

Clean the male thread surface of dirt, oil and old sealant. Start wrapping at the end of the thread and apply the tape in the direction of the thread so it does not unravel during assembly. Overlap each turn slightly and use 3–6 wraps depending on thread size and condition. Press the tape into the thread profile by hand to ensure contact, then assemble the fitting. Do not use PTFE tape as a substitute for damaged threads or as the only measure where a gasket or threadlocker is specified.

Usage recommendations

Store the tape in a dry place away from direct sunlight. For gas fittings follow applicable local regulations and use PTFE sealing materials approved for gas service where required.
