How to use

Clean and dry the male threads before application. Hold the tape with the end secured at the thread root and wrap clockwise around the male thread surface so the tape follows the tightening direction; overlap by about half the tape width and apply two to four turns depending on thread diameter and condition. Press the tape into the thread crests with your fingers to ensure even coverage, then assemble the joint by hand and tighten with the appropriate tools to the required torque.

Usage recommendations

Use only the minimum number of tape turns needed to achieve a leak-free joint; excessive layers can make assembly difficult or affect thread engagement. Do not use PTFE tape on tapered threads requiring sealing compounds specifically rated for gas unless the product is explicitly certified for that use. Store the tape in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
