Filter housing USTM WFST 3/4" is designed to protect washing machines and dishwashers from scale and sediment. The casing accepts a replaceable filter filling (polyphosphate media or mesh/cartridge) and is fitted with 3/4" threaded connections — one end with internal thread and the other with external thread — allowing easy installation between the supply hose and the shut-off valve or between the hose and the appliance inlet. The housing measures 16 cm in length, 6 cm in diameter and the filling occupies approximately 50% of the internal volume.

How to use

Shut off the water supply and relieve pressure before installation. Unscrew the supply hose from the valve or appliance inlet, then screw the WFST housing between the hose and the valve or inlet so that threaded ends match (internal to external). After installation, open the water supply and check for leaks. When the polyphosphate or cartridge filling has been consumed, either replace the entire housing with a new unit or service the housing by refilling or replacing the filter media according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Usage recommendations

For reliable protection, periodically check the filling condition and the threaded connections for leaks. Use only compatible polyphosphate media or the recommended cartridge type. If water hardness is very high, replace or refill the media more frequently and follow appliance manufacturer guidelines regarding water treatment.
