The Uvex 9164246 safety glasses are an updated development of the established Uvex Astrospec design, combining a panoramic polycarbonate lens with integrated side shields and a flat-fold frame in neon orange and black. The grey PC lens transmits 23% light, offers UV 400 protection and is a sunglare filter version certified to EN 166 for personal eye protection and EN 172 for industrial sunglare filters (labelling: W 166 FT CE – 5-2.5 W 1 FTKN CE). The glasses include anti-fog coating on the inside and extremely scratch- and chemical-resistant coating on the outside (uvex supravision excellence), plus an adjustable multi-level side arm inclination for an improved fit.
These safety glasses provide reliable eye protection through impact-resistant polycarbonate construction and integrated side shields, together with UV 400 protection and certified sunglare filtration. Comfort features include the uvex ventilation system with a labyrinth seal to reduce fogging, soft non-slip arm ends (uvex duo component technology) to prevent pressure points, and a flat-fold design for compact storage. The lens coatings deliver long-lasting anti-fog performance inside and strong scratch and chemical resistance outside.
