The uvex pheos E-S-WR safety helmet combines a lightweight, sporty shell with functional adaptability to provide protection and comfort during electrical and industrial work. The helmet has a fully enclosed shell certified to EN 50365 (1,000 V AC) making it suitable for electrical tasks; it also meets EN 397 and the additional requirements for very low temperatures (-30 °C) and molten metal splash (MM). The shortened brim improves upward vision while the six-point textile suspension and 3D flexible harness deliver a comfortable, secure fit. An integrated front slot accepts helmet lights and side Euroslot adapters (30 mm) allow attachment of earmuffs and the uvex pheos visor system.
The helmet offers electrical protection with EN 50365 certification and a fully enclosed shell, along with impact protection to EN 397 and resistance to extreme cold and molten metal splash. The lightweight construction, climazone ventilation and flexible 3D suspension harness increase wearer comfort during long shifts. A wheel-ratchet suspension allows continuous width adjustment for a precise fit, and the modular accessory system supports lights, visors, spectacles and hearing protection.
Select the correct helmet size and adjust the wheel-ratchet suspension until the helmet sits comfortably and securely on the head. Attach required accessories—such as the uvex pheos visor, earmuffs or a head torch—using the front slot and side Euroslot adapters. Ensure the shell is fully closed and free of cracks or heavy wear before use. For electrical work, verify the helmet’s EN 50365 compliance and inspect the suspension and shell regularly according to workplace safety procedures.
Inspect the helmet before each use; replace the helmet if the shell or suspension shows signs of cracking, deep scratches or significant wear. Store the helmet away from direct sunlight and chemicals to preserve material properties and electrical insulation performance.
