VENILIA Decor 55591 Decorative Adhesive Film 15 m x 900 mm
The VENILIA Decor 55591 decorative adhesive film is a versatile solution for interior design and furniture renovation. Measuring 15 meters in length and 900 mm in width, this high-quality PVC film allows for extensive coverage, making it ideal for large-scale projects or multiple smaller applications throughout the home. Its durable construction ensures a long-lasting, smooth finish that effectively updates the appearance of worn surfaces.
This adhesive film offers excellent durability and resistance to everyday wear, making it a reliable choice for high-traffic furniture pieces. The material is designed for easy handling, allowing for a smooth application process that minimizes bubbles and wrinkles. Its moisture-resistant properties make it suitable for various indoor environments, while the high-quality adhesive backing ensures a secure bond to most clean, flat surfaces. Furthermore, the film is simple to clean and maintain, providing a practical way to achieve a professional-looking aesthetic without the need for expensive replacements or complex tools.
This film is not recommended for use on porous, textured, or uneven surfaces, as the adhesive may not bond correctly. It is also not intended for outdoor applications or areas subject to extreme heat or direct, prolonged exposure to water, such as inside a shower enclosure.
Before application, ensure the target surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or grease. Measure the area to be covered and cut the film to the required size, leaving a small margin for adjustments. Peel back a portion of the backing paper and carefully align the film with the edge of the surface. Gradually smooth the film onto the surface using a soft cloth or a squeegee, working from the center outward to eliminate air bubbles. Once applied, trim any excess material with a sharp utility knife for a clean, professional edge.
For the best results, allow the film to acclimate to the room temperature before application. If air bubbles occur, they can often be gently pushed toward the nearest edge or pricked with a fine needle to release trapped air.
