Veracity LONGSPAN Max Base Ethernet and PoE Extender

The Veracity LONGSPAN Max Base Ethernet and PoE Extender is a high-performance network device engineered for dependable long-range transmission. Designed specifically for professional security and surveillance installations, this reliable unit allows seamless connection of IP cameras and other network devices over extreme distances using standard UTP or coaxial cabling. It guarantees high bandwidth capacity and stable power delivery to remote devices without requiring local power sources at the far end.

Advantages

This advanced network extender eliminates the traditional distance limitations associated with standard Ethernet setups. By maintaining a stable connection over extreme cable runs, it ensures continuous data transmission and robust Power over Ethernet delivery. The system operates efficiently without needing a local power supply at the remote end, significantly simplifying installation complexity and reducing overall infrastructure costs in large-scale deployments.

Suitable for

• Extending Ethernet and PoE connections for IP security cameras over long distances
• Professional video surveillance installations in large facilities and perimeter security
• Connecting remote network peripherals using existing UTP or coaxial cabling

When it may not be suitable

This device may not be required for standard network setups where cable runs are well within the conventional one-hundred-meter Ethernet limit. It is also unsuitable for environments lacking compatible cabling infrastructure unless appropriate media conversion is applied.

Key specifications

• High-performance Ethernet and PoE extension
• Designed for long-range network transmission
• Compatible with standard UTP or coaxial cabling
• High bandwidth capacity
• Stable remote power delivery

How to use

To set up the system, connect the base unit to your primary network switch and power source. Run your standard UTP or coaxial cable from the base unit to the remote location where your IP camera or network device is positioned. Connect the remote end of the cable to a compatible LONGSPAN camera unit to establish both network communication and power delivery instantly.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the total cable distance required for your specific installation
