The Vertiv Geist Rack Transfer Switch VA4U11A0 is a single-phase, unit-level monitored rPDU designed to provide backup power to single-corded devices in racks. It features (10) U‑Lock C13 outlets and (2) C14 input inlets, supports nominal input voltages from 100 V to 240 V and maximum currents of 10 A / 15 A, and delivers power capacities of 1.4 kW, 2.4 kW or 2.3 kW depending on input configuration. The device detects loss of the primary power source and automatically switches to the secondary source in less than 4–8 ms, ensuring continuity. The transfer switch integrates the Vertiv Geist Next‑Generation IMD with a 128×128 high‑visibility LCD and an internal orientation sensor for horizontal or vertical installation. It includes a redundant power‑sharing port for connecting two IMDs and enhanced secure boot protection. The unit is Dual Listed (UL/CE), TAA‑compliant, RoHS certified and individually tested for functionality and reliability.
